Paddle and hike the wild Loxahatchee River through cypress and Old Florida wilderness.
Riverbend Park spans roughly 645 acres along the Loxahatchee — Florida's first federally designated Wild & Scenic River. Rent a kayak or canoe from on-site outfitter Jupiter Outdoor Center to paddle 5 miles of waterways through cypress forest, or explore nearly 10 miles of trails for hiking and biking (plus 7 miles of equestrian trails) while spotting herons, turtles, and the occasional gator.
The area's go-to for Old Florida nature and paddling, with the Loxahatchee Battlefield historic site on the grounds.
