The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse on the water in Jupiter, Florida

Our story

The two people behind the guide.

A husband-and-wife team, born from genuine local knowledge — not an agency or an algorithm.

Hi — I'm Kyle Romero, and along with my wife, Chloe, this guide comes from the two of us. Not an agency, not a faceless content farm somewhere far away — two people who actually live in Jupiter, eat at these restaurants, walk these beaches, and get asked the same questions by friends and family over and over: where should we eat on the water, where do we take the kids, what's worth doing this weekend.

We started Jupiter Coastal Living to answer those questions honestly. Everything you read here is filtered through people who know the area firsthand — which patio actually has the view, which spot is worth the wait, which places quietly do it best. When we're not sure about something yet, we say so. That's the whole point: recommendations you can trust because they come from neighbors, not algorithms.

By day, we run Jupiter Coastal Media, a small local media studio based right here in Jupiter. We produce original photography, video, and digital guides for coastal Palm Beach County businesses — so documenting this place well isn't a side project for us, it's what we do. Jupiter Coastal Living grew naturally out of that work, and it's held to the same standard.

We build things online outside of Jupiter, too. One of those is Setup Gear Guide, a separate site we created about desk setups and the gear we actually use to run the studio every day. It's a different world from beaches and restaurants, but it comes from the same instinct — try it ourselves, then write the honest version.

If you've found this guide useful, that means a lot to us. It's a real labor of love from two locals who care about getting Jupiter right. Have a favorite spot we've missed, a correction, or just want to say hello? We genuinely read every message — drop us a line. Thanks for letting us be a small part of your Jupiter.
